Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, the HERO

Haha!! The rumour of Mr Ronaldo is getting hotter after his country's exit in the EURO.

From wikipedia, I managed to find some interesting stuffs about him:

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro (pronounced [kɾɨʃˈtiɐnu ʁuˈnaɫdu]), OIH, (born 5 February 1985in Funchal, Madeira) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Premier League club Manchester United and the Portuguese national team. With Manchester United, Ronaldo plays primarily as a right winger. He has also been used both in a central attacking role and as a second striker.

A winner of the 2007 English PFA Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards, and third in the 2007 World Player of the Year award, Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the most talented footballers of his generation. Ronaldo also won the 2008 English PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year, giving him back to back victories for both awards. Johan Cruijff said in an April 2, 2008 interview, "Ronaldo is better than George Best and Denis Law, who were two brilliant and great players in the history of United.".

On June 5, 2008, Ronaldo declared his desire to move to Real Madrid if they still offered the same amount of money as stated earlier in the year. He also said he will speak more of the situation but not until after Euro 2008. On June 9, 2008, Manchester United filed an official complaint with FIFA over Real Madrid's interest in signing Ronaldo, which FIFA decided to take no action over. On June 21, 2008, Ronaldo spoke for the first time during Euro 2008 about his desire to move to Real Madrid. He also claimed that it is his personal dream to be the best player in the world, and he feels that a move to Real Madrid is a step forward.

On June 22, 2008, Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster told German television station DSF, "For such a player, we will pay what is necessary because what counts for us is to win the Champions League", and “We won't get him for any less (than €100 million)"But on June 24, 2008, club president Ramon Calderon, said, "There is no 'Cristiano Ronaldo case' because Manchester do not want to sell, In any case, Real Madrid will never pay €100 million euros for anybody".

Let's just see what Ronaldo can do to justify his market value!
